Your Bio

Photography has always been a part of my life. As a kid my mom would let me take family photos with her Kodak Brownie camera, as a teenager I took photography in high school & worked for the high school annual & newspaper as a photographer. In college, I helped to pay my way through school with a work / study grant by working as a photographer for the college.

I have alway had a camera. Working as the Fire Marshal for the City of Meridian fire department, I started our department using digital cameras for fire scene investigations.

Now that I have retired from my Fire Chief's position, I have more time & have invested in more quality photography gear. I use Canon equipment, for my use, it fits like a glove. I have learned through the years that a quality photograph not only takes great equipment, but a good eye for the picture & perfect timing.
